Holding/ Long-term Accumulation

Grunfeld Holding Accumulation systems provide an automated handling solution for factories where filling and labelling operations are located in different areas. And for factories that batch produce but label to order or pack to order.

Stacking: Product is automatically stacked into custom storage boxes, which stack securely on a pallet base.

Storing: The palletised storage boxes can then be transferred into storage.

Unstacking: When the product is ready for labelling or secondary packaging the palletised storage boxes are brought to the unstacking station, from where they are automatically picked and returned to the line.

The automated picking and placing systems also automatically handle the storage box management, so operator input is only required for the manoeuvring of full pallet loads.
